Start an online tabloid

Check out a few other tabloids for a sense of what categories to use and how much space to devote to each. I figure it'll be the usual fare. Celebrity gossip. Florida Man news. Entertainment highlights. Body care. Advice column. The occasional amazing picture of the world someplace. Feature a strange critter. Demonize some bad guy or other "over there." Maybe an advice column. Generate a random sudoku puzzle. Find some CC/public domain comics.

Curate articles for each, except on the alternative medicine front. Post/link to debunking instead. Add some pop-sci and a cool machine. Throw in a picture of a pretty rock.

If there's ever any advertising, take ads from the Paltrow/Wolfe set anyway. What's that saying about fools and their money? If rubes are going to throw their money away, I'm not against taking a slice of. I'm diverting it from even worse pockets. At least I'd be debunking at the same time, right?

Instead of Elvis sightings and Bat Boy make up accounts of kobold sightings and photoshop the evidence. Maybe a mysterious cave has been discovered deep in the Amazon, and what to make of this bipedal hominid with a head that might be gator-like or maybe boar-like, can't tell, bad photo, but it's carrying what looks like a spear. Tales of what amounts to goblins in the Ozarks. Orcs in the Caucasus. Ogres in Norway. Dragon sightings over the Sahara. Crazed ramblings of a beholder in secret catacombs under Vatican City.

Meh. I've had worse ideas. At least I can actually imagine a market for this.
