The muse is fickle. I can stare at a blank screen all day and call that writing. I can totally imagine exactly how to draw the thing I want to draw and freeze up on the blank page. Or I can start working on one of my countless projects and it's like I've got Muse on Tap, but set on Raging Torrent with no shutoff valve. She also likes to visit at bedtime. Such is my insomnia.
And I dare not complain. If there's a way to turn it off, it's to complain, but there's no accounting for if and when she'll return. That is a barren wasteland of no inspiration whatsoever.
So how's this? When the latest idea, hair-brained or otherwise, strikes, honor her and immortalize it.
First up, as an homage to the tabloid market of the 80's and 90's with their Elvis sightings and sasquatch photos and Bat Boy, start an online tabloid.
